The Purple Thread
There are some collaborations that help. Here’s about the last one: a collective collage project created to support women facing severe hardship and extreme vulnerability.
The launching date (29th of July) is a small nod to Saint Martha, traditionally associated with hospitality.
The aim of the project is to bring artists together around one shared question:
how can collage become a gesture of welcome, connection and support?
Each participant is invited to create a personal 15 × 15 cm collage, starting from one of the images provided on the project page.
Every artwork will remain unique, but together they will form a connected body of work around the theme of hospitality.
The collages will be presented in Marseille from October 8 to 18, as part of a larger collective exhibition bringing together artists from different disciplines – not only collage artists.
The artworks will then be offered for sale, and all proceeds will be donated to the organisation supporting these women.

Let’s connect through collage, make space for others and support women who need it most.
