EMS La Girarde – Fondation du Relais
The Fondation du Relais – EMS La Girarde is a specialized care center for psychogeriatric patients.
I was invited to exhibit some of my creations there. After a careful selection process, the residents can now appreciate my collages and discuss them together, sharing their feelings about them. I am happy this offers them the opportunity to change their daily routine a bit.
I could spend an entire afternoon wandering in the café with some of the residents, hearing about their lives, receiving their reactions to my artwork. I was so blessed to get their personal interpratation and share time with them all.
What a profound and enriching experience it is to exhibit in a retirement home.
Huge thanks to La Girarde and specifically Raphaël for giving me the chance of such great time with great people.
Bringing art to people should be a given in all living spaces, at all age.
